The Environment Agency (EA) have published a new charging scheme. The charging scheme covers regulatory permits and services they say will result in businesses covering the relevant costs as opposed to the public.
The EA has said the new pricing structure will look to ensure poor-performing businesses will be charged more. The charges were announced following a consultation which ran from November 2017.
