The EA has reminded those operating in the waste and recycling sector about its current consultation on fees and charging.
The consultation period will close at 11.45pm on 26 January 2018- the date has been extended to give more time for responses.
The current consultation includes a look at proposals to make changes to the charging for licences for:
- regimes within the Environmental Permitting Regulations 2016
- radioactive substances regulation nuclear and non-nuclear permits
- marine licences
- Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2013
- Control of Major Accident Hazards Regulations 2015
- European Union Emissions Trading System
- definition of waste services
