ODS Degassing & Depollution

All units are processed at our secure, licensed depollution facilities. ODS gases are safely extracted and destroyed in line with WEEE and F-Gas regulations.

Material Recovery

Metals, plastics, and insulation foams are separated and sent to approved recyclers. Where possible, working fridges are tested and redirected for reuse.

What types of fridges do you recycle?

We handle all commercial and domestic refrigeration units including upright fridges, chest freezers, fridge-freezers, display chillers, and commercial cold rooms. If it contains refrigerant gas, we can process it compliantly.

Do you collect fridges nationwide?

Yes. We operate across the whole of the UK using our own haulage fleet. We don't subcontract collections, so you get consistent service whether you're in Cornwall or Scotland.

What happens to the refrigerant gases?

All ODS (ozone-depleting substances) and HFC gases are extracted using licensed degassing equipment, then sent for destruction at approved facilities. This meets WEEE Regulations and F-Gas compliance requirements.

Can you handle urgent or bulk collections?

Yes. We work with retailers, councils, and waste brokers who need responsive service for shop refits, site clearances, and seasonal peaks. Contact us to discuss timescales and volumes.

Do you offer fridge reuse as well as recycling?
