How It Works

Arrange your collection or Drop Off

We collect TVs and monitors on pallets from your sites nationwide using our own haulage fleet or partners. Collections are scheduled around your operations, whether that's a regular run or a one-off site clearance.

Sorting & Reuse Assessment

At our facility, screens are sorted by type and condition. Working units in good condition are assessed for reuse and diverted to reuse partners where viable, improving your diversion rates and circular economy outcomes.

Depollution & Hazardous Material Extraction

Older CRT monitors contain leaded glass and older LCDs may have mercury in backlights. Units requiring depollution are processed at our licensed treatment facilities. Lead glass from CRTs and mercury-containing backlights from older LCDs are extracted and handled as hazardous waste under Environmental Permits.

WEEE Treatment & Recycling

Once depolluted, remaining materials — plastics, metals, circuit boards, and glass — are separated and sent to approved downstream recyclers. Nothing goes to general waste or landfill.

Documentation and reporting

Every collection is fully documented. You receive duty of care paperwork, WEEE transfer notes, hazardous waste consignment notes where applicable, weight data, and ESG-ready reports covering recycling rates, reuse volumes, and carbon impact.

We collect and recycle a wide range of insulation materials, including:

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What types of TVs and monitors do you accept?
We accept all types: CRT (cathode ray tube) televisions and monitors, LCD monitors, LED monitors, plasma TVs, and commercial digital signage. If it's a screen, we can process it compliantly.
Why can't CRT TVs and monitors go in general waste?
CRT screens contain up to 8 pounds of lead in their glass, making them hazardous waste. Disposing of them in general waste or landfill risks lead contamination of soil and groundwater. They must be processed at licensed treatment facilities like ours.
Do older LCD monitors require special handling?
Yes. LCD monitors manufactured before 2009 often contain mercury in their backlights (cold cathode fluorescent lamps). These require depollution at licensed facilities to extract and safely dispose of the mercury before recycling.
Do you provide containers for TV and monitor collection?
No. Due to the size and fragility of screens, we collect them on pallets supplied by your site. Our team will work with you to arrange the most practical method for your volumes and operations.
Do you collect from multiple sites?
Yes. We provide scheduled collections across all UK sites under a single service agreement. One contract, consistent service, and unified documentation regardless of how many locations you operate.
Can you handle bulk office or retail clearances?
Yes. We work regularly with office fit-out contractors, facilities managers, and retailers clearing out IT equipment or digital signage during refurbishments. Speak to our team about volumes and timescales.
Do you assess screens for reuse before recycling?
Yes. Working units in good condition are assessed for reuse and diverted to reuse partners where viable. This improves your overall diversion rate and supports circular economy commitments.
What documentation will I receive?
You'll receive duty of care paperwork, WEEE transfer notes, hazardous waste consignment notes (for CRT and mercury-containing units), weight tickets, and ESG reports showing recycling rates, reuse volumes, and carbon impact. Everything you need for WEEE reporting obligations, internal audits, and ESG disclosures.
Are you licensed to handle hazardous materials like lead and mercury?
Yes. Our treatment facilities operate under Environmental Permits and we're licensed for hazardous waste treatment including lead glass and mercury-containing components. All processes meet WEEE and hazardous waste regulatory standards.
Do you work with waste brokers and IT asset disposal companies?
Yes. Waste brokers and ITAD companies are a core part of our client base. We provide full downstream traceability and compliance documentation so you can fulfil your duty of care obligations to your own clients.
How quickly can collections be arranged?
Most collections are scheduled within 10 working days. For urgent clearances or high-volume requests, speak to our team about priority arrangements.
How is pricing structured?
Pricing depends on screen type, volume, collection frequency, and location. Contact us for a tailored quote.
How do I get started?
Get in touch with our WEEE team. We'll assess your volumes, confirm screen types, and set up a collection schedule that keeps you compliant and your sites clear.
