Europe's latest fridge processing plant
GAP Waste collects over 200,000 waste fridges per annum. We collect bulk shipments and transport across the UK in our articulated fleet, which averages 5/6 tonnes per load.
Following significant investment, in 2019 we commissioned Europe’s latest fridge processing plant. Our plant is capable of processing nearly 700,000 fridges per year. We are one of the very few plants that can dispose of :
- Domestic fridges
- Commercial fridges
- Ammonia fridges
- Air Conditioning Units
- Water Coolers
- Condensing Tumble Dryers
Our plant operates under new, more stringent permitting and emission parameters. You can rest assured that your material is treated in a truly environmentally friendly way.
Drop-offs or national collections
We are open for gate price volume drop-offs or national collections of high-volume refrigerated/cooling waste. In addition to the hazardous gasses and glass, we capture when recycling cooling equipment we recover the following materials:
- P U Foam
- Ferrous Metal shred
- Aluminium / Copper shred
- Plastic shred
